Like all genera, Hebes have their weaknesses, here we share our extensive experience of growing large numbers of Hebes for many years.
There are a few golden rules to follow:
| · | Avoid overstocking Hebes. |
| · | Allow plenty of space between plants on beds. |
| · | Avoid damp, dark areas of sales area. |
| · | Use a PREVENTATIVE spray programme. |
| · | Choose varieties selected for disease resistance, we can advise. |
| · | Avoid soft, large leaved stock from Dutch lorries. |
| · | Water in the morning, not last thing, and from below if possible. |
| · | Overwatering or drying out will reduce disease resistance. |
